A Black man from Texas is accusing his former employer of discrimination, retaliation, and constructive termination.
According to the complaint filed by Willie Henry Jr. filed on Dec 20, he became the victim of unlawful discrimination, retaliation and constructive termination for reporting discrimination with the EEOC. The suit also states he was severely underpaid.
The plaintiff alleges that his that time employer, Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation, failed to take corrective actions against his supervisor who openly claimed he “didn’t like black people.”
Henry seeks a fair trial and quite serious compensation including all past and future lost wages and benefits, punitive damages, attorney fees and costs of court, plus all other appropriate relief.
Situations, when Black people become victims of all forms of racial discrimination, are not new and only accumulation of satisfied suits may possibly show some white bigots how to behave themselves.
