Passenger Kicked Off United Airlines Plane For Wearing Black Panther Hat
United Airlines sent a passenger out of a plane because she was wearing the avengers Black Panther hat.
A passenger in United Airlines plane was kicked off the flight for the reason that she was wearing a cap with the avengers Black Panther emblazoned on it.
Dear @united this shirt shouldn’t make your pilot uncomfortable enough to warrant having me spoken to and told to take it off pic.twitter.com/AHNU3pZxLC

Amanda Stevens, a freelance e-sports journalist posted a picture of herself in her outfit; a Black Panther hat and a T-shirt with an upside-down American flag while she stated that she had been informed of the pilot’s discomfort with her choice of clothes.
Although she had flown before with the same T-shirt and cap, her troubles began before she boarded the flight when she was told that her outfit was problematic. She turned the T-shirt inside out but kept the hat on, after all, it’s a Black Panther hat – a marvel superhero.
He didn’t seem that bothered to give me a smug look when he walked past me to the bathroom @united

She was allowed to board the flight before a short exchange ensued between her and a flight attendant who requested that she put her luggage under her seat.
“I didn’t know if I was going to be staying on the plane or not and I said that,” she said. “I was grumbling because I was frustrated.”
She was then sent out of the plane, with the shirt exchange with the flight attendant mentioned as the reason for her being kicked off the flight. However, United Airlines later responded to the story, as they horribly misidentified the passenger.
And now I am being told I can’t wear my hat @united this is unreal and fucking racist pic.twitter.com/338GyYDa97

“We have reached out to Ms. Campos to discuss her concerns. Our goal is to provide safe and comfortable travel for all of our customers and we regret that Ms. Campos was unhappy with the handling of the seat assignments on her flight. United holds our employees to the highest standards of professionalism and has zero tolerance for discrimination.”
It could be said that the flight attendant and the pilot are both racists. How could a Black Panther cap make someone feel uncomfortable? It’s a marvel superhero for crying out loud. It’s baffling to see that the pilot had to look for such a flimsy reason to justify sending Stevens out of the plane. This can’t be tolerated anymore, as there have been several cases where Black people have been kicked off flights for nothing.
