2017 Black History Family Festival!

Everyone is invited as the Black History Family Festival continues to celebrate diversity and bridge all cultures by promoting literacy through arts and education!

With the theme Celebrating African Americans in Education, this year’s festival will feature Professor & Author Dr. Vincent Gaddis, professor of History and Director of the Global Studies program at Benedictine University.

The festival will also feature:

• Recognition of the top Black educators in Elgin
• Presentation of our Future African American Leaders
• Chicago West Community Music Center
• Entertainment and refreshments
• Children’s crafts, stories, and more
• Presentation of our Future African American Leaders

Admission is free to the public!
