Hillary Clinton and Bill de Blasio joke about ‘colored people’ time

The mayor of New York and Democratic presidential frontrunner made the racist joke during the annual Inner Circle Dinner.

At an Inner Circle fundraising dinner on Saturday night in New York City mayor Bill de Blasio and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton made a racist joke about “C.P. Time.”

“I just have to say thanks for the endorsement, Bill. Took you long enough,” Clinton said.

“Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P. Time,” the mayor responded.

The black performer, who was on stage with them, said, “That’s not…I don’t like jokes like that, Bill.”

“Cautious politician time,” Clinton awkwardly offered, trying to defend her friend.

For those who don’t know, Colored People’s Time, or CPT is an expression referring to a stereotype of African Americans as frequently being late.
Nice try at a save, Hillary, but anyway both of you deserve a double slap in the face for this joke.

What if republicans did this? Seems like Hillary doesn’t want black votes anymore.

The websites TheRoot.com and Salon.com called the joke “cringeworthy”.
