Braxton Hicks

Braxton Hicks CONtractions are hard to distinguish from early labor pains.

The closer a woman is to her due date, it is no longer “false alarms” these are CONtractions and they become MORE intense, frequent and painful the heart begin palpitations and fear increases.

Braxton Hicks are painless, cute, and sporadic.

A WOMAN KNOWS SHE HAS LIFE WITHIN AND WILL GIVE BIRTH, EVENTUALLY.

Still keeping with the BIRTHING theme up until 9-11.

Thinking about the process and growth of a baby.

A baby’s growth reminds me of this journey, we are on in this racist, hateful and divisive country called America.

Life has given me a lot of wounds, hurts, scars, fears, near misses, confusion, uncertainties, regrets, epiphanies and have put me in some compromising positions.

Every trimester, I just as yourself grew enormously uncomfortable, had to face my TRUTH that WE MUST BIRTH THIS BABY.

We have outgrown where we were and during these times of pain, discomfort , eating disorders, isolation, unity, being on bed rest and uncertainty WE MUST YET prepare for birthing.

Birthing is scary when you don’t have a coach, seasons person, DOULA, blueprint or control.

As I put pen and pad up I just needed to ask, DO YOU FEEL THESE BRAXTON HICKS?
