Equal Opportunity Project's analysis shows that HBCUs “actually have a better track record at fostering mobility than many thought.”
The results of a new research suggest that HBCU students have higher chances to climb up the career ladder.
The scholars found that 85 percent of the HBCUs’ graduates had a higher than average “mobility score.”
Many have questioned the effectiveness of HBCUs as a tool to help students climb up the economic ladder. Now, these people have been proved wrong.
HBCUs are often underestimated and given bad reviews when compared to white educational institutions. It is a mistake as HBCUs can be proud of their strong cultural background and supportive community. These colleges are also free of racism and intolerance. Not many white institutions can show such results.
