Dallas County D.A. To Ride in Dallas MLK Parade

Dallas County District Attorney Served Grand Marshal of the MLK Day Parade.

Faith Johnson, who is a former State District Judge claims she is happy to serve as an example of diversity and inclusion.

“I could make more money too if I wanted to, if it was all about that. But you know, I looked at what was happening in Dallas County. I looked at what was happening with this office and I said ‘God, something needs to happen. You need to put somebody in there that can make a difference.’”

Johnson says King’s message of inclusiveness inspired her for this step.

The citizens were delighted to see their District Attorney. Johnson’s dream to make her office “accessible to people” is definitely coming true, which makes us one more step closer to the realisation of Martin Luther King’s Jr. great dream.
