Versace Sued For Discriminating Against Blacks

Versace secretly alerts its staff when an African-American person enters their shop, a fired employee reveals.

An African-American employee, who worked in a Bay Area store, claims in a lawsuit that his senior informed him about a store code called “D410,” which was used to secretly warn the staffers about the presence of a Black person.

D410  is said to be the code for the label’s all-black shirts and clothing.

After mentioning to the manager that he was African-American the former Versace employee was denied rest breaks and fired after just two weeks.

The last comment is upsetting, it shows how many challenges a Black person has to face on the daily basis. But still, each voice matters and we hope that this guy’s lawsuit regardless its outcome will make Versace eliminate the shameful practice.
