BLM Activist Appointed Head of Human Resources in Baltimore’s Public Schools

BLM activist DeRay McKesson has been appointed acting Human Resources Manager of the city’s public schools.

DeRay McKesson’s new job is to manage Baltimore public schools’ human resources.

On Tuesday, June 28, DeRay McKesson, the well-known Black lives Matter activist, was appointed by the incoming schools CEO Sonja Santelises. DeRay, who several months ago opted to be Mayor of Baltimore, has taken the challenging task after two-and-a-half years of experience in the same Human Resources as an assistant.

The new school CEO, Santelises, is confident that McKesson can do the job ahead of him. She explained in an interview that DeRay “has the depth of knowledge of the system, and he has proved that he can lift the work in a short amount of time, and he has proven his dedication to the children of Baltimore.”

According to reports, McKesson is expected to head his new office for at least through the fall. A Man, who will be managing a $4 M budget and 56 employees, is to earn $165K.

It’s great that activists like DeRay are being entrusted with administrative positions. At last, the problems of those kids, who are being marginalized, will be properly addressed by a person, who knows about their troubles from his own experience.

McKesson is a leader, who is determined to bring up youth that can fight to end racism and injustice. That’s what black kids especially need after tragic events in Baltimore.
