What Would Malcolm X Think of Today’s America?
Today, you would turn 91, we honor you, Brother Malcolm!
Malcolm X was born May 19, 1925. Though he was born Malcolm Little he became a huge man in the history of Black America.
His message of racial justice put him far ahead of his time. He believed the black struggle for civil rights must be expanded to the level of human rights. And this is still the most important idea for us! We all should incorporate this message into the current discussion on race.
This day is a great day to talk to your community. And we ask you to unite! We ask all Black Americans to unite against the white racism! We’ve had enough of being oppressed! Equality is a myth for modern America! We shouldn’t and won’t tolerate injustice that happens to us every day! The freedom can’t wait!
Malcolm X once said: “I believe in the brotherhood of all men, but I don’t believe in wasting brotherhood on anyone who doesn’t want to practice it with me. Brotherhood is a two-way street.” If he was still alive today Malcolm X would say that white America doesn’t make enough efforts to cooperate and live peacefully with Black America.
