**This is a POC centered event**
POC Priority Space: Please note, this event is focused on amplifying healing and wellness within communities of color. This is a POC priority space, which means that people of color are encouraged to step up, step out of the margins into the center of this space, and feel comfortable helping to hold and create a safe space for us. White allies attending are asked to step back from taking up space by taking anything personally; step back from asking questions aloud and instead write those questions down for consideration outside of the workshop space. This is a POC priority space, which also means white allies are asked to take the responsibility of self-education and self-care amongst other white allies at every step possible. White allies are asked to seek out other white allies in the space for any small group work. Everyone’s contribution is needed to make sure this space is a balanced, healthy space focused on wellness. That said, the facilitator will ensure affirmative mediation around any challenges to this POC priority space.

So, remember, save the date!
