For #BlackFuturesMonth we want to center our young freedom fighters and their journey to connect to their history, roots and all the dope work they do in the hood!
This event is Black youth lead and they want to give their peers access to Black power through information, resources, organizations, art and culture.
The Black Power Youth Summit is exclusively for young people between the ages of 13-20. CPS will be out of school and we want to give students the opportunity to turn up, feel love, get assistance and embrace their heritage.

There will be free food, resource booths for jobs, mental health care, wellness care, violence prevention and restorative justice.
In between the music and live entertainment, there will be break out sessions where the youth will be able to find out how they can get more actively involved in improving their communities.
BLMCHI is partnering with the Breathing room and with your help and donations to give away free clothes and books to the young people who attend.
We will also be raising funds to give out two scholarships! Links and more information coming soon.
Last and not least we’re hosting a $200.00 open mic contest!
