Black Lives Matter, Civil Rights, and the Future of Interfaith

A dialogue on the past, present and future struggle for equality and justice with Dr. Gwendolyn Zoharah Simmons, a veteran of the Civil Rights Movement, and Rev. Marcus Halley, an Episcopal Priest currently involved in Interracial and Interfaith dialogue.

A wide-ranging discussion, also addressing issues of LGBTQ equality and the importance of religious ‘nones’ in justice work, will be followed by an audience dialogue opportunity, because we are the ones to carry this important work forward.

This is a UNF Pilgrim Bridge event in partnership with the UNF Interfaith Center.

The UNF Pilgrim Bridge fosters Christian Interfaith Leadership and communities of Interfaith friendship and action, and is administered by the Episcopal Diocese of Florida.
