Black Lives Matter

Talk by Betty Jeanne Rueters Ward, Program Director at All Souls, and members of the All Souls Racial Justice Initiative.

All Souls as well as the broader Unitarian Universalist movement and other religious and secular organizations have taken steps in recent years to support the Black Lives Matter network as one of the foremost civil and human rights movements in our time. Learn more about how All Souls members have engaged in active participation, education and partnership — building for racial justice in America, and how other communities are aligning themselves with BLM. This session will also report on highlights from the recent ceremony for the Forrest Church Award for Humanitarian Service that honored the three co-founders of Black Lives Matter.
