20th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Prayer Breakfast

Join the Center for Identity, Inclusion and Social Change for its 20th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast.

This year we will have writer and activist, Darnell L. Moore, guide us through a conversation action plan that utilizes Black Lives Matter as a model on how to develop a movement that is authentic, inclusive, and transformation for present and proactive solutions.

The program includes breakfast and is free and open to the public. RSVP is required through the form below:

Cosponsors include: Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity, Center for Black Diaspora, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Steans Center, and Residential Education.

You will receive a confirmation email within a few days. Check in begins at 9:30am and you must arrive to LPC Student Center 120 by 9:50am for the program. After that time, guests that did not RSVP will be allowed to take any empty seats. If you are in need of childcare during the program, please email [email protected] by Tuesday, 1/10/17 for more information.

As in past years, the program is free for all to attend. If you are able, we encourage attendees to support the DePaul Student Emergency Assistance Fund. Please go to the website below and contribute whatever you can. When selecting funds by School or Area, please select Add another school, college, or program fund” and select Student Affairs. Then you can select the DePaul Student Emergency Assistance Fund.
