19th Annual Black History Parade & Picnic


The 19th Annual Black History Parade & Picnic takes over Downtown Hattiesburg, Saturday, February 25. The park opens at 10:00am. The parade kicks off at 11:00am. The picnic kicks off immediately following the parade.


The picnic will be held at Town Square Park. Its FREE to attend and open to the general public. It will feature live entertainment such as music, arts, and ofcourse the best foods in the south. There will also be a kids corner as well. We are NOW accepting vendor applicaitons. Register now online.

The parade line up will begin at the historic Eureka School. Tens of 1,000’s gather as the parade marches down the historic Mobile Street including dance teams, floats, various groups, historical figures, and ofcourse several marching bands from around the state.
