In Freddie Gray case discussion with his guest, Clarence Mitchell, Bill O'Reilly blamed Black men and boys for their own deaths.
Fox News host, Bill O’Reilly, on Monday’s edition of “The O’Reilly Factor” said that Freddie Gray’s lifestyle led to his death. He implied that drug trafficking and narcotics had great influence on Gray’s community and friends.
This is what he said:
“I think all Americans, no matter when a citizen dies like Freddie Gray did, it’s never the citizen’s fault in the sense that Freddie Gray didn’t get up in the morning and say I’m going to do something and I’m going to die. But Freddie Gray’s lifestyle for many years, led him to this terrible thing which is not only impacted him and his family but all the police officers and that lifestyle should be condemned. I mean, this narcotics trafficking is awful. It is devastating.”
No matter how Freddie lived his life, if the officers, who arrested him were more careful, followed their instructions, and did not abuse their power, he would have been alive today.
