Divorced Black Couple creates greeting cards that are designed for Exes trying to maintain cordial relationships while co-parenting.
The New Jersey divorced couple, Ken and Wander Bass, who had been married for 15 years until 2002, have created something called XCards, a holiday greeting cards for ex-couples that are supposed to restore a healthy relationship after divorce.
Ken and Wander have been able to put their differences apart over the past years of divorce to co-parent their children in the best possible way. Ken’s Ex-wife says, “co-parenting may not require friendship right away but it does require cooperation in order for your children to grow up in a socially healthy environment.”
On every holiday such as Christmas, Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, the couple had always wanted to give each other greeting cards with words of reconciliation, but it wasn’t possible until now.
“Our sons are just as excited as we are about the positive impact XCards can have on families,” says Wnader.
The XCards, which start at $2.75, have inspired divorced couples to strengthen their co-parenting relationships.
This shows how dignified people can work together even after breakups. With this as an example, one can learn to create solutions to problems that affect the society.
