Albuquerque Police Release Video of Cop Shooting Fellow Cop

Albuquerque officers have released surveillance and body cam video of a cop shooting a co-cop who was on an undercover drug sting operation last year.

Albuquerque police officers released a video which shows an “incompetent and trigger-happy” Lieutenant Greg Brachle ordering an occupant of a car to step out and place the hand on his back. Unfortunately, this was a co-cop he had worked with before.

“Put your hands where I can see them! Put your hands where I can see them!” It could be heard in the video office Brachle yelling at police Detective Jacob Grant who was sitting behind the already surrounded car of the suspects. Officer Grant was on undercover duty during this operation. Brachle opened fire eight times when Jacob began to step out of the car.

“Oh S**t, that was Jacob,” Brachle screamed. “F**k me! Are you ok?” He asked

“No,” Grant replied. “I’m sorry, man, I didn’t know it was you,” Brachle cried.

Detective Grant received bullets in the neck, shoulders arms and legs which made him lose blood of about 80 percent instantly. Presently he is receiving treatment and going through number of surgeries.

The City of Albuquerque has settled a lawsuit filed by Detective Grant earlier this week. According to the city, the settlement amount is $6.5 million and the city will cover Grant’s medical expenses for the rest of his life. Meanwhile Officer Brachle has laid down his badge before a civilian oversight board recommended his firing.

Trigger-happy hands, but empty brains! This proves that most American cops shoot before even understanding who is in front of them. It’s threatening, because of the fact that he is some family’s bread-winner.
