A Maryland police officer was shot yesterday, March 13, by some gunmen.
A four-year veteran officer Jacai Colsen in Prince George’s County was shot dead yesterday by some group of gunmen during a normal routine in the afternoon. The Prince George’s County Police Department described Officer Colsen’s dead as an “unprovoked attack” following the style of the ambush.
Officers taking quick steps prior to the shooting came up with a suspect within an hour and reported he was in police custody. Within some few minutes, a second suspect was apprehended, the police reported.
“We do not believe there are outstanding suspects but investigation is in early stages,” police said on their Twitter feed announcing the second arrest.
Corporal Harry Bond gave his word to the media that the case will be followed to the roots and any new development will be reported. The names of the suspects are for the mean time withheld.
