3rd Anniversary of Michael Brown’s Death

This is a day POOR BLACK people decided to rise up and declare in one voice, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH America.

This is a day POOR BLACK people decided to shed light on what we have been silently endure for decades.

This is the day POOR BLACK people decide to step up to start sanctioned brutality on innocent and ignorant BLACK LIVES.

This is the day POOR BLACK people decided to rise up against oppression, regression, racism, division, maltreatment, white privilege and snatch their humanity as best as they could.

This is the day POOR BLACK people gave permission to other POOR BLACK people to get up and fight back, dispel those lies America has fed Americans for 400 years.

This is the day we began to want to learn the truth about our RICH heritage America whitewashed, edited and erased.

This is the day my vocabulary changed and I began to use words more often such as classism, ableism, socialism, ageism, racism, intersectionality, protests, activist, gender equality, liveable wage, discrimination, power economics, stereotypes, policies, practices, rules, laws, systems, behaviors, treatments, relationships, communications, media, public opinion, opportunities, symbolic rituals, group dynamics, norms, views, articles, climate, shared values, morals, understood rules, values, beliefs, feelings, attitudes opinions and of course many more…….

THIS IS ALSO A DAY I MET SOME COOL PEOPLE WHO JUMPED IN THE FIRE AND BEGAN DIGGING DEEPLY WITHIN AND TOSSING OUT WHAT THEY ONCE KNEW AND WHO THEY ONCE WERE AND BEGAN EVOLVING INTO BEAUTIFUL JUST PEOPLE.
