Black kids open up about the impact of racism on their lives.
Around 2 years ago NYC radio station interviewed 12-year-olds of varying races from two Manhattan middle schools. Youngsters were asked to reflect on how racism impacts their lives. The kids were asked to tell their stories, share positive and negative experiences and so they did. You can see the resulting video series.
All these lovely Black kids and kids of other races already experienced prejudice, discrimination and fear, they feel helpless and humiliated just because of their origin, parents or skin color. And all the issues that were recorded two long years ago are still true for post-Obama America. Please watch the video and think if you want your kids to feel the same.
