Police Brutality Victims From Obama’s Era Honored In Unusual Way

Milan Morris puts Trayvon Martin, Sandra Bland, Michael Brown, and other victims of police brutality on her dress.

“Yes I’m Black. Yes I’m 17. Yes GOD is using me to convey a message that’s bigger than me,” Milan’s post on the Instagram featuring a photo of her on the very special dress, says.

When the idea of putting the photos of the victims of police brutality on a prom dress came to her, she asked Torrence, a West Palm Beach based designer for help. “He was the mastermind behind this whole thing honestly,” said Morris adding that Torrence’s “message is a huge issue in America today.”

“It was powerful,” Torrence said about the dress. “It was art. It was surreal. It spoke volumes.”  Though the opinions of the Internet users split. What do you think?
