Some viewers call Get Out “anti-white” and “racist” though Black people see nothing but dark humor there.
Though Jordan Peele’s Get Out is a satirical horror movie approaching the problem of interracial relations and life in a small town in a rather unusual way some people found the film was pushing a racist stereotype agenda against white people.
There is definitely a good deal of dark humor in the film but it’s nothing more but dark humor except the fact the antagonists are white.
Most Black viewers (and even rare white ones), by the way, characterise the movie as funny and see nothing special but a sarcastic horror on screen even taking into account that whites are attacking Blacks.
Everyone has the right to have an opinion about the movie, but we’d just like to ask, isn’t racism in the eye of the beholder?
