Victim Of Racism Gets Hugs And Money

A racist note written on a receipt for a black Virginia waitress forced customers to express their support to her.

A message left at the bottom of the bill at Anita’s New Mexico Style Cafe in Ashburn sparked outrage both on the internet and among the customers.

Restaurant waitress Kelly Carte claims the message saying “great service don’t tip black people” was left by a white man and woman to whom she had served breakfast.

Tommy Tellez Sr., the owner of the restaurant,  called the note “disheartening.”

Though being a victim of racism, in the end, brought Carte success as customers are now requesting her as their server and some just come to express their support giving her hugs and money.

We are glad the Kelly Carte’s services were duly appreciated, we are delighted to know she had enough dignity to forgive these racists… But still, some people shouldn’t be allowed to visit public places until they deal with their intolerance and learn to behave themselves.
