The Southern Methodist University is the latest to be hit with racial propaganda as students found racist fliers which stated why white women shouldn’t date black men.
According to the Daily Campus, the student newspaper of Southern Methodist University, the racist fliers found at the school this week were titled “Why White Women Shouldn’t Date Black Men,” The Washington Post states.
Underneath those words, were lines that included:
- “He’s much more likely to abuse you”
- “He’s much more likely to have STDs”
- And: “Your kids probably won’t be smart”

The university on Tuesday released a statement calling the fliers “offensive” and saying that “concerned students” have met with the school’s Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, and plan to do so again.
“Two offensive fliers were found Sunday night in two stairwells in a residence hall and were reported to University officials, who are investigating this incident,” the university said in its statement. “SMU condemns the racist and hateful message in these fliers. These messages have no place at SMU and are in opposition to SMU’s values and commitment to an environment free from discrimination.”
The fliers located at SMU appear to be similar to ones that appeared on the campus of the University of Michigan earlier this year. They were recently spotted again at the University of Oklahoma, according to that school’s student newspaper.
An “alt-right” logo is printed in the bottom right corner of the flier, according to the Huffington Post.

Covered in photos of blond white women beside black men, the racist flier ultimately warns white women that they “should probably just avoid black men” because they are “more likely to commit every type of violent crime than whites.” It lists several stories about white women being assaulted by black men as examples of why all black men cannot be trusted.
The two leaflets were found in the Armstrong Commons Dorm and in the Science building, Daily Mail reports.
None of those claims cite any sources, and some make dubious assertions about inherited low intelligence.
There is also a series of sensational murder stories, all illustrated by pictures of smiling blond-haired white women and stern-faced black men, and referred to as ‘horrific and sadly predictable’
The identity of the people who placed the flyers is unknown, but a logo in the bottom-right corner credits the alt-right, a loose term that incorporates everything from white supremacism to right-wing online trolls.
Members of the SMU Association of Black Students have met with administrators and issued ten demands focused on diversity and inclusion.
The president of Southern Methodist University issued a letter Wednesday condemning fliers titled “Why white women shouldn’t date black men” that were found at several places on the Dallas campus several days prior, according to Dallas News.

In the letter SMU President Gerald Turner issued Wednesday in light of the racist fliers, he mentioned other isolated campus incidents that he described as uncivil, racist and sexist. Turner did not give specifics on the incidents, but said they show that there’s a small number of individuals who don’t want to live in a united, respectful community.
“Anyone committed to living a life of denigrating others in some misguided effort to elevate themselves should find another place to live,” Turner wrote in his letter. “…I commend student leaders for organizing to eliminate such unacceptable behavior among their fellow students on our campus.”
The end of the flier says “Take the Red Pill and meet the Alt-Right at RadixJournal.com. Brought to you by Unamusement Park.“
The Southern Poverty Law Center describes the Alt-Right as those with the core belief “that ‘white identity’ is under attack by multicultural forces using ‘political correctness’ and ‘social justice’ to undermine white people and ‘their’ civilization.”
Alt-Right founder Richard Spencer, a white nationalist who attended St. Mark’s School in North Dallas, is editor of Radix Journal, which is promoted on the flier.
University officials suggest that anyone who sees such fliers or has information call SMU Police at 214-768-3333 or the Office of Institutional Access and Equity at 214-768-3601.
This clearly portrays that those racists responsible for the act are not just ignoramuses but also display a low level of IQ. How can it be that such people find themselves in such a higher institution? What have they been learning all this while? People need to start getting serious and channel their efforts into useful ventures. The future of our country is in need of intelligent and innovative people. This is definitely not the way to go.
